Alumina ceramic close one end insulation thermocouple protected tube
Thermocouple has become the most widely used temperature sensing element in the fields of industrial production and scientific research. The performance of thermocouple protective tube material affects the long-term stability and service life of thermocouples. The thermocouple working at high temperature has stricter requirements on its sleeve material.
The protected tube with one end close, it can be produced by round bottom and flat bottom.
In order to make thermocouple protective tube used under high temperature conditions, the material not only has airtightness, mechanical strength, stability and thermal conductivity required by ordinary thermocouples, but also requires:
(1) High temperature resistance: it can be used at the upper limit of thermocouple temperature measurement, without deterioration and deformation, and has good oxidation resistance at high temperature.
(2) Thermal strength: it does not soften at the use temperature of thermocouple.
(3) Corrosion resistance: When thermocouple protection sleeve must be immersed in molten metal, glass, molten salt and corrosive gas, it should have corrosion resistance to these media.
(4) Certain resistance to drastic temperature changes, comprehensive resistance to thermal shock, high thermal conductivity and small thermal expansion.
Al2O3 high-temperature ceramic (alumina ceramic) is the first choice for temperature protection casing over 1400ºC because of its good high-temperature resistance, thermal conductivity, high strength, high hardness, low density, small thermal expansion coefficient, good oxidation resistance and wear resistance.
